Wayne D. Womac
Chief Executive Officer
Since 1984, Wayne D. Womac, founder of Womac Financial Services, Inc., has provided personal and professional advice on a spectrum of financial issues faced by seniors and their families. His primary objective in working with his clients is to cultivate long-term relationships with each of them, placing their needs, goals and desires first. By making a commitment to each client’s well-being with uncompromising ethics and attentive service, he has built a solid client base and continues to expand his business through referrals from satisfied clients and other professionals.
Mr. Womac remains dedicated to helping his clients achieve financial security, maintain their independence with dignity and most of all, peace of mind.
He also conducts educational seminars and workshops for various corporate and professional organizations on investment management and tax-advantaged retirement/estate planning.
Mr. Womac holds a B.S. and M.A. degree from Texas A&M University. Wayne and his wife, Carolyn, of over 40 years have resided in Salado, Texas for 25 years where they raised their three children and are very active within the community. Mr. Womac is also active within his church, having held or holding positions on the pastoral council, finance committee and other church organizations.
Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Womac, founder of Womac Financial Services and Legacy Protection and Preservation, has been an integral part of the business since its inception. She focuses on giving clients that personal touch while handling daily operations. She is also licensed in the state of Texas providing her with an intimate knowledge of both the front end and back end of the business and strongly believes in the their commitment to educate the client for their individual specific needs.
Mrs. Womac attained a B.S. degree from Texas A&M University in College Station where she met her husband Wayne. While running a business, their 3 children, Robyn, Kristen and Brandon kept them busy with multiple sports and involvement within the community, schools and church.
Mrs. Womac is published and is an avid rider in both English and Western Pleasure and loves to travel, especially to the beach to ocean kayak. She is also the proud grandmother of 10 fur babies.
Vice President of Operations
Legacy Protection & Preservation is excited to have Kristen as a part of the team. She graduated from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with a degree in Business Administration in Management. She studied abroad her entire junior year of college at Lancaster University in England which contributed to her also attaining her certification in International Business.
After graduation and gaining several years of experience in a career as a consultant, she made the transition to working with the family firm full-time. She has been a part of the family business for over twenty years having worked summers in high school and home from college. Her focus and passion is to educate families and small businesses on how to guarantee their retirement and secure their wealth. Her business background is rooted in providing excellent customer service and she is committed to building her clients to help them achieve financial freedom.
Legacy Protection & Preservation is also excited to have Thomas Stricklin as a part of the team. He has many years of business experience in finance and lending. He is a graduate of Texas State University and served our country in the United States Marine Corps for almost a decade before being medically retired and continuing his career in finance.
He is local to the Georgetown area and is on a mission to share our education with everyone he meets! He has a strong dedication to building new clients and financially protecting their families to help them achieve their goals to be successful in their retirement.

Cort retired from his executive consulting practice in 2016 to join Legacy Protection and Preservation. Over the previous three decades, Cort helped save thousands of lives and billions of dollars by working directly with leaders of global corporations to improve performance, safety, and profitability.
A passionate consumer advocate, accomplished author, and entrepreneur, Cort asserts that many Americans’ prospects for the future have diminished in the last few decades. Never one to sit on the sidelines, Cort once again rolled up his sleeves to find a solution. Through his partnership with Legacy Protection and Preservation, Cort offers free education to employers, schools, and individuals of all ages and income levels to familiarize them with the latest financial tools and strategies for creating a joyous and carefree life.
Cort is also committed to youth character development. He is the primary investor and co-founder of TRPD Baseball in Austin, TX. Far more than a baseball training organization, TRPD aims to utilize the game of baseball to develop players into exceptional young citizens.
